INTRODUCTION

Pressure and vacuum relief breather valve is designed to protect low pressure storage tanks from excessive pressure (or vacuum) created by thermal expansion (and contraction) and product movement into(out of) the tank and at the same time minimizing costly product evaporation/loss.

Excesses in pressure or vacuum may also cause permanent deformation to the tank or unbalance a vapor recovery system.

The pressure and vacuum relief breather valve is installed on the storage tank roof. The valve may be mounted in conjunction with a KSFH or KSFI flame arrester to provide maximum protection against excessive pressure and vacuum while minimizing accidental ignition of flammable product vapor from external sources

KSBB-KSB

BREATHER VALVE – TYPE KSBB/KSB

According to API 2000 code, the pressure & vacuum relief valve of Model KSBB and KSBS are designed, manufactured and tested.

Model KSBB, which is used for the protector of fluid storage tank, is composed of one body with the functions of pressure relief and vacuum relief. (Model KSBS is used for the pressure setting above 1 PSIG)

This valve has function to intake the air under constant pressure during unloading, and to discharge the  overpressure generated during pouring the fluid into storage tank.

This is the safe valve to control the deflation(vacuum) and inflation(pressure) of several storage tanks.

KSBD-KSDS

BREATHER VALVE – TYPE KSBD/KSDS

According to API 2000 code, the pressure relief valve with pipe away type of Model KSBD and KSDS are designed,manufactured and tested.

Model KSBD and KSDS, which is used for the protector of fluid storage tank, is composed of pressure relief function.(Model KSDS is used for pressure setting above 1 PSIG)

The vent valve should be the pipe away type for the condition of driving pressure and the retreatment of poisonous and flammable gas and steam. For this reason, TANK TECH has produced the Model KSBD and KSDS.

KSBG-KSGS

According to API 2000 code, the pressure & vacuum relief valve with pipe away type of Model KSBG and KSGS are designed, manufactured and tested.

Model KSBG and KSGS, which is used for the protector of fluid storage tank, is composed of a body with the function of pressure relief and vacuum relief. (Model KSGS is used for the pressure setting above 1 PSIG)

In case of using the vapor recovery system of combustion poisonous and flammable gases in the storage tank at the flare stack, our KSBG and KSGS Models can be used to pipe away type

KSBJ-KSJS

BREATHER VALVE – TYPE KSBJ/KSJS

According to API 2000 code, the pressure & vacuum relief valve with steam traced of Model KSBJ and KSJS are designed, manufactured and tested.

Model KSBJ and KSJS, which is used for the protector of fluid storage tank, is composed of a body with the functions of pressure relief and vacuum relief.(Model KSJS is used for the pressure setting above 1 PSIG)

Some special fluids or gases are sublimated at room temperature. The safety of tank is kept by the supply of external heat and the normal operation of valve disc for venting. Model KSBJ and KSJS type are designed and manufactured to supply the steam through the steam traced of the main valve.

KSPR-KSPS

VALVE – TYPE KSPR/KSPS

According to API 2000 code, the pressure relief valve of Model KSPR and KSPS are designed, manufactured and tested.

Model KSPR and KSPS, which is used for the protector of fluid storage tank, is composed of pressure relief function.(Model KSPS is used for pressure setting above 1 PSIG)

For the inflammable gases, blanketing system is used to supply the inert gas into the tank and to suppress the oxygen supply into the tank during the vacuum phenomena.

For the overpressurizing inside of the tank.Model KSPR and KSPS is designed to discharge it through the pressure relief valve

KSVR-KSVS

VALVE – TYPE KSVR/KSVS

According to API 2000 code, the vacuum relief valve of Model KSVR and KSVS are designed, manufactured and tested.

Model KSVR and KSVS, which is used for the protector of fluid storage tank, is composed of vacuum relief function. (Model KSVS is used for vacuum setting above 1 PSIG)

Under the only depressuring condition inside of the tank like silo, Model KSVR type is designed to be added only vacuum relief valve.
